~History~
Life was never easy, even to a young Korean named Sandara Park.
She moved to the Philippines with her family at a young age. Despite of the difficulties living in a new country she managed to learn and adapt well. She overcame the language barriers in time, learning English and Filipino (Tagalog) fluently.
In early 2000, she enrolled for some voice classes at the Center for Pop Music.
In 2004, she found herself joining a reality show, Star Circle Quest, in search of new young stars. With her charisma and ability to give a good rapport, the entire county (Philippines) have loved and endeared her. She may have had some shortcomings but she proved herself to be a star to look forward to. She etched her name in Philippine TV History by having garnered approximately 500,000 text/SMS votes during the last episode and a grand total of 2,000,000 text/SMS votes from the public viewers through the entire duration of the show. With much public support she came in as a runner up and her showbiz career began.

After her showbiz career in the Philippines took the slow slope, she found herself back in her home country, South Korea. Starting anew, YG Entertainment took hold of her. She have been doing vocal, dancing, acting trainings for a while now and is expected to make an acting debut soon.

yup! actually she never left YG. she just returned to the Philippines for a while. now she is to set her foot on her homeland's showbiz industry. i wish her all the luck, she truly deserves it.

she´s pretty and cute.

but as far as i know she´s not a YG trainee. YG has offered her startup help by providing coaches etc. for her and by giving her advises for her career. but she´s not officially part of the YG family. it´s more like he´s offering help for a friend ^^ (like he does for RedRoc)

edit: plus, she´s already debuted in the phillipines. she can´t exactly be considered a trainee anyways. it´s more like she´s expanding to another country now.

she's also good in acting especially in comedy..

compared to lee hyori and bom, she still has some trainings to attend to before she could be like them but i know sandy can do it..

Seems like she got A LOT of work done on her face O_O

Too bad she looks like every other female Korean idol now.
It'll be interesting to see how she fares. She's relatively "old"
for a trainee (almost 23) and judging from the stuff she did in
the Philippines, i don't really hold out much hope...

But i guess we'll see.

The last time I heard she is not officially with YG as a trainee, at least not yet. YG just offered to help her "jump start" her career in Korea, as in giving her some training and advices(no idea). But yeah, it might have changed since...

Even if she is YG trainee, YG doesn't really care about age that much. Look at Kim Ji Eun, she debuted at 26-27...nothing is wrong with it, as long as you're talented and "ready".
