About
8eight (에이트) is a three member group consisting of three members: Lee Hyun (Leader/Male Vocal), Baek Chan (Rapper/Male Vocal), and Joo Hee (Female Vocal). 8eight were the winners of MBC’s Show Survival (쇼바이벌), kind of like the show American Idol, making their official debut on August 25, 2007 on MBC’s Show! Music Core. With their strong vocal talents and R&B/soul music style, 8eight has been compared to be the Korean Black Eyed Peas. For those who are curious, 8eight means infinity if turned to the side > “∞”. 8eight do what they do best and love most, and that is singing. 8eight hopes that their music will last for infinity and that it touches their fans and others.

Wow their English is pretty good in "Somewhere over the Rainbow". They have nice, strong voices too. But why are they called 8eight?

I've always heard of the group on Showvival. But I haven't watched it yet. But if they won it with those judges I saw, they must be pretty good. Going to give a shot listening to their music tomorrow.
