Hi briseis, thanks for posting these photos. This is about his wax figure to be exhibited at the MadameTussaudsMuseum in China in
April next year. The pictures we see here is a staff from the MadameTussaudsMuseum in the UK who
visited Korea to measure his body size and discuss about clothing concept
and pose design for the wax figure. The MadameTussaudsMuseum is one
of the most famous museums in the world. It has thirteen branches all around
the world in such cities like London, New York, Hong Kong, and Hollywood. Because it only exhibits wax figures of historical and important
figures, it’s an honor to be part of the list. They select local celebrities
who are popular and highly respected in the areas. :)]
Lee Min-ho's wax figure to be exhibited at Shanghai's Madame Tussaud Museum
Korean actor Lee Min-ho will be standing alongside Hollywood stars
Angelina Jolie, George Clooney and Audrey Hepburn at the coveted Madame
Tussaud Museum.
The actor has been set to be exhibited as a wax figure at Madame Tussaud
Museum in Shanghai, after getting recognized as a famous Korean
celebrity causing a big wave of Korean pop culture boom by the museum
staffs, Starhaus Entertainment said.
Officials said a staff from Madame Tussaud Museum recently visited Korea
to get Lee's measurements for his soon-to-be revealed wax figure and to
discuss his overall concept, posture and design.
"We have to conduct a thorough analysis of a person before creating
their wax replica," an official from Madame Tussaud was quoted as
saying.
Founded by famous wax sculptor Marie Tussaud, known as Madame Tussaud,
the popular tourist attraction was first established in London and has
branched out to major cities including New York, Hong Kong and Los
Angeles.
The museum displays wax figured of famous and infamous historical
figures, film stars, sports stars and other public figures to provide
visitors a chance to get up close and take pictures with the popular
figures.
Lee shot to stardom with KBS' "Boys Over Flowers" in 1999, and has been
one of the most popular Korean actors in Asia. He has starred in other
hit TV series such as MBC's "Personal Taste" in 2010 and SBS' action
series "City Hunter" the following year.
He is currently starring in SBS' new Monday and Tuesday series "The Great Doctor" opposite actress Kim Hee-seon.
Lee Min Ho is dominating the small screen these days, with his ultra-charismatic take on warrior Choi Young for SBS′ Faith - but that′s not the only place he′s taking over as he’s our Star of the Week!
The young actor has starred in back to back hit series since Boys over Flowers, the piece that launched him into superstardom, and he doesn′t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
But fans who are tired of just seeing him in 2D can (sort of) see Lee Min Ho life-size - as wax figure that is.
Otherwise, you can still catch him every Monday and Tuesday, as he′s pretty much the reason anyone is watching Faith.
Plus, Lee Min Ho is also the reigning SNS King of Korea, with well over 5 million friends on Facebook and over 10 million followers on his various social networking sites overall.
Lee Min Ho is currently a cold and kickass bodyguard for the king in SBS’ Faith,
but we mustn’t forget about the times when he made us squeal and
prevented us from sleeping at night due to the heart-flutteriness caused
by his oh-so-adorable mannerisms.
So here are five reasons why we love our flower boy Lee Min Ho, in no
particular order. We know there are a lot more, but we can’t list out
everything, so bear with us.
When He Knows What He Wants, He Doesn’t Hesitate
Remember this scene? Remember when Son Ye Jin and Lee Min Ho finally
realize they love each other? Who else screamed when he whispered “Game
Over” and then swoops Son Ye Jin off her feet for a kiss? This scene was
the highlight of Personal Taste (and rightfully so) as he
stops pretending like he’s gay and marches out of the friendzone,
boldly confessing that he loves her.
He Waits, No Matter How Late You Are
In the first scene where Gu Jun Pyo finally starts caring about
someone else than himself, he proposes a date at Seoul’s Namsan Tower,
but Geum Jan Di (Gu Hye Sun) decides she’s going to stand him up.
However she changes her mind last minute, and when she finally does
appear, he’s still there, waiting for her, freezing his butt off in the
snow. And what’s even more surprising, he’s not even angry, but rather
glad because she ended up coming to him anyways.
A Man Who Know How to Give Directions
There’s nothing attractive than a man who is willing to help a lady in
need, and this commercial for Cantata Coffee shows us just how helpful
Lee Min Ho can be if we ever get lost on the road. The over-the-top
cheesiness has us screaming and wondering why no one gives out
directions like that in real life.
He Dances for His Food
Lee Min Ho is a man who loves his food and how can we not like him for
that? Things like donuts and banana-flavored milk have him dancing in
excitement, despite his lack of dance skills, but we’ll forgive him for
that since his dorkiness makes us love him that much more.
His Fans are Always on His Mind
Having more than 10 million followers worldwide,
Lee Min Ho probably has a hard time keeping up with all of his fans,
but that doesn’t mean he forgets about them. In fact, he’s always trying
to allow his fans know what he’s up to.
On all of his social
networking sites, he’s always watching out for the well-being of his
fans, telling them to not catch a cold, or to be care during the heat
wave.
He once commented, “They say Koreans run on rice, but I run on my fans’ love,” and hoped to one day do good deeds
with his fans. A man who believes in giving back to the community and
spending time with his fans? If that doesn’t convince you to like Lee
Min Ho, we don’t know what to think.
So these are our reasons why we love Lee Min Ho. Let us know what your reasons are below!
Lee Min Ho’s hit dramas may have catapulted him to hallyu star
fame, but let’s not forget that behind every great man there’s a great
woman. And we think his female costars deserve some love too.
So, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite leading ladies who have been lucky enough to star opposite Lee Min Ho.
Try to contain your jealousy for a moment and read on.
Gu Hye Sun
We start things off with Lee Min Ho’s most popular leading lady Gu Hye Sun.
Gu Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di are considered iconic K-drama characters of our generation thanks to megahit KBS drama Boys Over Flowers.
Don’t underestimate Gu Hye Sun just because Lee Min Ho gets all of the attention, however, as the director, artist and straight-A studentproves she’s more than Lee Min Ho’s once onscreen girlfriend.
But
if you haven’t seen the magic that is the Gu Jun Pyo-Geum Jan Di
couple, one, shame on you, two, the clip below sums it up pretty well.
Son Ye Jin
Considered one of the top actresses in Korea, Son Ye Jin met her match in Lee Min Ho on MBC drama Personal Taste.
Too bad her character Park Gae In thought Lee Min Ho’s character Jeon Jin Ho was gay.
Based on the clip below, however, we think Jin Ho successfully cleared the air concerning his sexuality.
Park Min Young
The next leading lady may still be a
sensitive subject for Lee Min Ho and his loyal fans, but Park Min Young
must have left some impression on Lee Min Ho for the two to have taken
their onscreen relationship off screen—and to openly confirm it through
public dates, for that matter.
We only wish this story had a happy ending.
Although Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young may not be togetheranymore, their chemistry onscreen during the City Hunter days was undeniable
Relive the bittersweet moments from the drama in Kim Bo Kyung’s Suddenly music video below.
Kim Hee Sun
As we’re only in the beginning stages of Lee Min Ho’s and Kim Hee Sun’s characters’ budding romance on new SBS drama Faith, it’s difficult to judge the two’s chemistry just yet.
However,
the drama marks both Lee Min Ho’s and Kim Hee Sun’s long-awaited
returns to the small screen, so expectations are certainly high.
We’re
right there with the two stars as they get better acquainted with one
another in the drama. And as the clip below indicates, what’s true love
without a few rough patches?
Actors Kim Hee Sun and Lee Min Ho were spotted riding on horses, dating.
The two actors are currently gaining popularity as the main cast of SBS’s drama series The Great Doctor, and they were recently on a horse riding setting.
In the series so far, Choi Young (played by Lee Min Ho) called Yoo Eun Soo (played by Kim Hee Sun) Imja (old Korean word meaning “honey”) and since then, netizens calle them Imja couple.
The two characters have completely opposite personalities and often
have quarrel. However, they gradually fall in love with each other,
predicting upcoming romance.
In the sixth episode of the series which will broadcast
on August 28, they have to leave for a long journey. Eun Soo does not
know how to ride horses, therefore Choi gives her private lessons, and
they soon get into a quarrel. But their little fight creates an
ambiguous atmosphere, building more expectations for their building
relationship.
In the picture revealed on the Internet, Lee Min Ho and
Kim Hee Sun are laughing, enjoying their shooting on horse riding date.
They are sitting next to each other, looking like a couple.

Lee Min Ho, who cleverly avoided being pigeonholed into his flower boy status, is a hot commodity worldwide, as he’s considered the number one male cosmetic model in Korea, the number one hallyu star (according to a Japanese entertainment magazine, the number one celebrity to go on a blind date with, causes street-stopping crowds in China, and is pretty much still the prince of Korean dramas.
