K-Will was a ‘K-vatar’ in the past

On April 27th, K-Will guested on MBC’s “Radio Star” and shared a past photo of himself that led the MCs to nickname him as ‘K-vatar‘.

It all began when Wheesung, K-Will’s long-time best friend, nonchalantly stated, “I feel like K-Will has become so much more handsome these days.”

As if on cue, MC Kim Gura suddenly pulled out a photo of a three-step transformation process that took viewers through a timeline of K-Will’s past and present images. The middle picture in particular caught everyone’s eye, since it looked just like the protagonist from the film, “Avatar“. The producers of the show even overlayed an ‘Avatar’ image over K-Will’s picture, causing everyone to crack up with laughter.

K-Will explained, “It was when I was having the hardest time after the release of my first album!” The MCs continued teasing, “Isn’t he from ‘Avatar’? We don’t even need CG effects for this,” and “Did you use this picture to get cast for the role?”

Netizens commented, “He really does look like an Avatar!’, “I love K-Will~”, and “K-vatar is hilarious!”

K.Will is upset with his company’s CEO

On May 4th, singer K.Will appeared on MBC’s “Radio Star”, where he revealed his upset feelings towards his company’s CEO.

K.Will stated, “After SISTAR received 1st place in one of the music programs and became popular on various broadcasts, the CEO stopped receiving my calls.”

He continued, “I later found out that he wasn’t receiving my calls. He didn’t save my number on his phone. After I called him on his new phone number, he answered my call by asking, ‘Who are you?’”, making everyone in the studio laugh.

After hearing this, MC Kim Heechul jokingly stated, “I think K.Will will soon meet with the CEO of his friend Wheesung’s company.”

K.Will and Daesung talk about their resemblance

Known for their striking resemblance, Big Bang’s Daesung and K.Will confronted each other for the first time on a broadcast.

On the May 2nd broadcast of SBS’s ‘Night After Night‘, K.Will was able to meet one of the show’s regular MC’s Daesung. The MCs asked him, “Why do you keep impersonating Daesung?“.

To this K.Will replied, “I’ve never impersonated him… There are some people that don’t confuse us but are rather certain [that I am Daesung]. So I don’t want to hurt their feelings nor disappoint them, I’ve gone along as Daesung before.”

Daesung confessed, “I’ve also been mistaken as K.Will before too. As K.Will was coming out on TV, the restaurant lady looked at me and said, ‘Ah~ You’re different~ Daesung has smaller eyes huh?’ and mistook me as K.Will.” Their resemblance is so close that even people who see them on a regular basis with their own eyes have trouble telling them apart.

Daesung continued, “When we run into each other in the bathroom, it’s like looking at a double sided mirror. It feels a bit strange.” He said that because he looked so much like K.Will, it was awkward.

K.Will added, “I’m a Big Bang fan but because of my resembling image with Daesung, it was hard to get close with them.”

K.Will then revealed, “There’s no girls that have chosen me as their ideal type. When I was on a variety show, UEE chose Daesung as her ideal type, even though I was sitting right next to her.” To this UEE who was also a guest, defended herself saying, “My ideal type are guys without double eyelid.” But K.Will wittingly said, “I see the reason now… I have double eyelids.”

K.Will chooses SNSD’s Yuri over IU

On May 4th, singer v guested on MBC’s “Radio Star” and was asked to choose between IU, the star of his “My Heart Is Beating” music video, and SNSD’s Yuri, the star of his “Tear Drops” music video.

The MCs asked, “Let’s see who is the current ‘trend.’ Pick between the two of them.”

Seeing K.Will contemplate his decision, fellow guest Wheesung advised him to be careful with his decision, as “the minute you open your mouth, you’re caught.”

After much deliberating, K.Will revealed, “Since IU was in two of my music videos, I’ll go with Yuri. I’d like for her to be in my next music video again.”

Super Junior’s Heechul joked by adding, “Cool’s Yuri“, which led K.Will to burst out in laughter.

Singer K.Will is out to support SISTAR19, the sub-unit group that’s part of the company he’s under.

On May 5th, K.Will tweeted the above photo and wrote, “SISTAR19 had their first performance today, so I visited them at M! Countdown to show support~! Took a photo~! Uploaded it on Twitter~! ‘Ma Boy’ fighting! Do as well as you did during those running races!”

K.Will dons a ‘Dok Go Jin’ moustache to promote his concert

K.Will recently parodied ‘Dok Go Jin‘ from MBC’s “The Greatest Love” to promote his upcoming solo concert called ‘My Heart Is Beating‘, will be held on June 25th at Seoul’s Olympic Park Hall.

To spotlight the event, the star took to his Twitter on June 7th and wrote with a tinge of Dok Go Jin’s catchphrases, “What day is June 25th? It’s the day you’re coming to K.Will’s concert! Ding dong~~! Who’s coming to my concert? Answer me ding~dong!“. He also uploaded a comical photo in which he sports facial hair similar to Cha Seung Won’s character, ‘Dok Go Jin’.

Talented soloist K.Will finally made his comeback with new album after three years.

On October 11th, K.Will released his third studio album ‘K.will 3rd Album Part 1’. Already revealed to have enlisted the help of top producers like Kim Do Hoon and Primary, the album also includes collaborations with rappers Beenzino and Dynamic Duo’s Choiza.

‘K.will 3rd Album Part 1’ contains seven tracks including the title track “Please Don’t” as well as tracks like “Closing My Eyes”, “Butterfly”, “Come to My Crib” (ft. Beenzino), “Hey You” (ft. Choiza), “You Are So Beautiful” and “Bluffing”.
