Can anyone tell me what Daejun Bonsang means though? ^^ what award is that for and isnt it bigger then the Daesang?

"Bonsang" is a general award given to the top artists of the year. From the group of bonsang winners, the daesang winner is chosen. Bonsang is in a lower level than daesang; daesang is the highest award that an artist can win, and it is only awarded to one artist.

Last year, thirteen bonsang awards were given out.

i thought sbs canceled theirs..

The nominees for the other categories have not been released; I'm not familiar with how SBS works, but I'm pretty sure only the bonsang candidates are released since that is the only category in which online votes are taken for. However, if additional candidate lists are released, I will definitely add them to this thread.

^oh ok thanks in advance. anyways it's good to see chae yeon nominated. but i think it should have been for two of us (infamous na na na) instead of third love. third love is a good song and all but it's not as good or catchy as two of us was.

hmm they cancelled them because not a lot of the artists were showing up. and apparently all the award shows are the same the kbs, mbc, and sbs ones since all the same ppl were winning and stuff. and they felt it was redundant. i think im not sure since i read the articles like weeks ago. feel free to correct me if im wrong.

instead kbs is doing a concert where all the top artists of the yr will perform.
